What happened to one of the co-founders of Farming Tales?
To the attention of the 920 users that were using the Mr. Harvey bot in the Farming Tales Discord and the 2 K users present in their Discord at that time. PS. And all new readers.
- THE GOAL of these articles, what happened on Oct 12th
- THE LIES told by the Farming Tales team and the reputation damage
- MY CONTRIBUTIONS to the success of Farming Tales

TL;DR "too long; didn't read"
Don't want to read pages and pages of drama in the links above? Here below you can find a summary..
What the Farming Tales founders said and/or mislead their users to believe
on October 12th 2021 when I was kicked out of their Discord server:
- Gabe today encrypted all your data and he is blackmailing us. We are the victims and he is dishonest and a thief.
- Gabe tried to steal all ours/your tokens. (The FT team were accusatory but vague, so users were jumping to obvioius conclusions that were not confuted in any way by the offenders)
- We are good guys so we decided to pay Gabe anyway for the work that he did. He is unstucking the data because we forced him to do it.
- { They hinted to all their Discord users that after being paid Gabe was attacking their servers. And they directly told so to all the members of the Support team. }
But is Gabe really the villain?
Or was he just kicked out because he was asking uncomfortable questions? (and he did nothing of the above)
- And could it be that he worked with a specific deal in place that then was not respected once the initial founders started making a decent amount of money?
What happened, in summary:
- The founder was treating me poorly in the last few days before the launch of the 3D game. In my opinion that was due to his inexperience in software development and project management. I have an excellent career on my resume' so I was pretty tired of dealing with all that.
- Me being a 20% partner (of 5) and co-founder of Farming Tales was not written on paper. After all I was dealing with strangers on the internet.. and we had a half a million sale planned in 2 days.. therefore I asked the founder for his personal information.
- He got offended, replied that I was out of the team and that I would not get future profits.
- The team thought that in retaliation I encrypted all the data and they told so to all their users. But the data had been that way for 2 weeks.. simply because it contained sensitive data that was publicly accessible to anyone (Hive blockchain - https://ecency.com/cat/@farmingtales/registrations-and-diffs-db).
The blokchain can prove this easily since every edit is public and immutable. Furthermore back when I did, I told them! And no one expressed concerns about that (they probably didn't know what I was talking about). - I was offered my part of the half-million sale if I sent them the decrypted data. I did so at the very first request.
Caveat on receving the money was that I kept quiet on everything that happened, in order to not affect their reputation. - Two days after sending me my cut of the sale (proof -> https://wax.bloks.io/transaction/890c21c08853c8a1f6396e46b7703944531567789178d248b0ea095e72ca2735), I got accused of attacking their servers and causing an outage.
But I did not, it was all due to their own incompetence! And I even helped them resolve the issue (see screenshots in the article) in the hope that they would clarify what really happened to me. Instead I received no thank you and no clarification to the users was ever made.
The team goes on making $ 100 K a day only in marketplace fees and does not share a cent with me, despite me being a co-founder that helped them during the critical month prior to the launch of the game and contributed to quadrupling their users during that time (from ~500 to ~2,000).
So.. I'm going to ask you again.. is Gabe the villain here? I wouldn't say so.
And instead of spending days with lawyers (not yet).. I am launching a Shooter 3D game on WAX with an awesome team of professionals that I personally recruited. 🙂
